Position Descriptor:
Teaching Years 3-6, Special Options class, Up to time fraction of 0.6.

The successful applicant will have experience and knowledge in developing individualised learning programs for students with disabilities and impairments. They will have a confident understanding and experience with using trauma informed practices, positive behaviours for learning and a range of assessment tools including ABLES.

3 application questions are:
1. Describe your approach to supporting students with challenging behaviours and complex learning needs. How do you work with families, students and other professionals to implement effective strategies?
2. Describe your approach to planning and delivering an effective lesson. Include reference to differentiation, student engagement and supporting individualised learning.
3. Provide an example of how you have used assessment data to inform your teaching and improve student outcomes.

Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
