The Secondary Sports Teacher will be expected to perform daily tasks including:

• Maintaining knowledge of the curriculum and planning teaching materials to present curriculum to students.
• Identifying students learning needs and work with Head of Secondary and Head of Education and Support to help manage student needs.
• Conduct lessons according to the curriculum
• Foster a supportive and safe learning environment in the classroom and school grounds
• Maintain reports and records of student performance and achievements
• Attend parent-teacher information sessions
• Attend school events including assemblies, presentations, and special events

Experience required

At least 3 years of secondary school teaching experience.

Qualifications required

Appropriate tertiary teaching qualifications at a Bachelor level, Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and Working with Children accreditation
