About the Role
Bring your celebrancy experience into the classroom and inspire people stepping into one of life’s most meaningful professions. As a Casual Teacher - Celebrancy, you will lead delivery of The Gordon’s Certificate IV in Celebrancy, a program built and ready for your personal touch.
This is more than teaching. It’s about stories, connection and helping future celebrants show up with confidence at life’s biggest and significant moments. You’ll blend real world experience with engaging learning, shaping professionals ready to step into weddings, funerals and community ceremonies with care, skill and authenticity.
In this role, you will:
You won’t be alone, you will be supported with an established curriculum, teaching resources and guidance from experienced colleagues. Support is available for industry professionals transitioning into teaching!

About You:
You’re an experienced celebrant who brings both heart and professionalism to your craft, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You value meaningful ceremony, understand the impact of your role in people’s lives, and take pride in helping emerging celebrants build confidence, capability and integrity in their practice.
Additionally, you will have:
Ideally, you hold a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (or higher), or bring a strong willingness to complete an equivalent qualification within two years.

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $91.42 (teaching) and $62.14 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $95.01 (teaching) and $64.58 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $98.77 (teaching) and $67.10 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
