We are Calvary Christian College, located in Townsville—an independent, co-educational school dedicated to excellence in Christian education for more than 1,100 students, from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12.

About the role...

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Educator to join our Team on a Permanent Part-Time basis (with the benefit of additional Casual hours) for an immediate start, working approximately 20 hours a week.

At Calvary Early Learning Centre, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to creating a nurturing and holistic learning environment where children can thrive.

The role of Educator is to work collaboratively to create and maintain a high-quality, play-based learning environment for children aged 2–5 years, aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Regulations, and National Quality Standard (NQS).

What we are looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a current Working with Children Check Blue Card (Paid) and a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent at a minimum.

You will also have:

• Demonstrated experience working with young children.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management Certification.
• Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for Early Childhood education.
• As a Christian College, we seek applicants who actively support our Christian mission - as a preference, our ideal candidate will be able to provide a Pastoral Reference.
