This opportunity will be available on a permanent part-time basis working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs for children aged 5 – 12 years old. As an OOSH Educator you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality childhood education and care to children. Experience/Criteria Desired Skills and Experience Experience in an OOSH serviceComputer literacy in order to document examples of learning storiesSupervising children’s play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviourAssisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children’s independence, social skills, learning, and development. Qualifications Certificate III in Children’s Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards and early childhood or Primary Teaching qualificationWorking with Children Check verification numberCurrent First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)Food Handler Basics Training (desirable) If you genuinely share our passion for Childhood Education we would love to hear from you!
