Home Care Support Worker | Casual | Flexible Hours

Elouera Home Support is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Support Workers to join our growing team providing in-home care and community support services.

This role is ideal for experienced female Support Workers, Aged Care Workers, Disability Support Workers, and Community Care Workers who are passionate about helping people live independently in their own homes.

We offer flexible casual shifts, allowing you to build hours around your availability while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

About the Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to clients in their homes and within the community.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support)
  • Meal preparation and assistance with daily living activities
  • Light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Social support and companionship
  • Supporting clients with community access (appointments, shopping, outings)
  • Conducting welfare checks and monitoring client wellbeing
  • Providing respite support for families and carers
  • Following individual care plans
  • Completing shift notes and documentation using mobile apps or care systems

This role involves working independently in clients’ homes while maintaining strong communication with the office and care coordinators.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for Support Workers who are compassionate, reliable, and flexible.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A genuine passion for helping others
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • Reliability and responsiveness to team communication
  • Flexibility to work short shifts (from 2 hours) and varying service times
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends

Experience in Home Care, Aged Care, Disability Support, Community Care, or NDIS services is highly regarded.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or similar (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Working With Children Check (NSW) or Blue Card (QLD)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
