We are currently seeking skilled compassionate, and reliable Support Workers to provide in-home care to elderly people in Collingwood and surrounding areas.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients live independently, feel respected, and stay connected to their community by assisting with:

Personal Care – Supporting clients with showering, grooming, and daily hygiene routines

Home Cleaning – Household cleaning and laundry tasks are a core part of the role, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment

Meal Preparation – Cooking simple, nutritious meals
-
Shopping – Assisting with errands or accompanying clients to the shops
-
Transport - Pick up/drop off services, driving clients where they need to go.

Respite - Relieving informal carers from their duties for a specific time in or out of home.

Social Support – Engaging clients in companionship, social outings, home-based activities, appointment activities.

Wellbeing Monitoring – Observing and reporting changes in physical or emotional health
- This role involves travelling between clients homes.

What You’ll Need
- Minimum availability of 3 weekdays Mon-Fri.
- A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Aging Support, with accompanying academic transcript (students nearing completion welcome to apply)

Current Victorian Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle

Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check

COVID-19 vaccination evidence (as per public health orders)
