About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and person‑centred Support Workers to join our NDIS team. In this role, you will provide direct support to participants in their homes and community, helping them build independence, achieve personal goals, and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person‑centred support in line with each participant’s NDIS goals and support plan.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, household activities, and mobility support.
  • Support participants to build capacity, develop skills, and increase independence.
  • Facilitate community access, social participation, and engagement in activities.
  • Implement behaviour support strategies in accordance with Behaviour Support Plans (where required).
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.
  • Encourage choice, dignity, and autonomy in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, guardians, and other professionals.
  • Follow organisational policies, safeguarding requirements, and NDIS Practice Standards.

Experience (Preferred but Not Essential)

  • Experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community services.
  • Experience providing personal care, community support, or behavioural support.
  • Familiarity with the NDIS and working within participant‑led environments.

Qualifications & Compliance

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or similar (desirable but not essential).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check (if supporting minors).
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with insurance (if required for shifts).
  • Proof of relevant vaccinations (as required).

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.88 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
