Little Zak's Academy is privately owned and family run. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment.

As part of this commitment, we are looking for a dedicated full-time Cleaner to help us maintain a clean and hygienic space for the children, families, and staff at our Brookvale centre.

About the role:
  • Full-time position with shifts from Monday to Friday
  • Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of the centre in accordance with compliance, health, and hygiene standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and communal areas
  • Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
  • Follow the centre’s cleaning checklists, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment that meets all health, safety, and regulatory standards required in an early childhood setting
What we are looking for:
  • Prior cleaning experience (preferably in a childcare, school or healthcare setting)
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education is not mandatory, but highly regarded
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual and positive attitude
