Architectural / Revit Technician

This is an enviable opportunity to join a National Design and Construct Builder who is further investing and expanding their pre-construction capabilities. As such, you will be assessed not only on your technical capacity and cultural fit, but on your project portfolio as a ‘fit-for-purpose’ Architectural / Revit Technician.

We are encouraging individuals to apply who represent portfolios covering the following sectors; Health and Hospitals, Aged Care, Education, Social Housing, Commercial, Industrial Projects and Remediation projects.

You may be currently delivering projects in the principal contractor environment for a construction firm in a formal Revit technician, Drafter or Design Coordinator capacity, or have a hands-on, drawing orientated role in an architectural / design practice covering the above disciplines.

You must have a stable career history and be based in Brisbane. This is not a work-from-home position.

You will be required to strategically engage with new and existing clients in association with a team of industry specialists, supporting senior Design Managers in the pre-construction process to achieve design, program and budget requirements.

 You will be responsible for;

• Developing project design and documentation from schematic design stage to construction contract stage.

• Assisting the Design Managers in the development of the Clients Brief.

• Monitoring and mitigating project risks and escalating concerns where relevant.

• Coordinating and driving the client, design consultants, suppliers and relevant stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

• Attending meetings to assist clarification of any project design and construction issues; And,

• Simultaneously managing multiple projects in various stages of the design and construct cycle.
