We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Design Manager who has a proven background in working on large scale commercial construction projects to join our Perth, WA business.
As a key member of the project team, you will lead and manage the commercial and technical delivery of all design aspects to ensure the project is constructed both efficiently and cost-effectively. This includes overseeing the internal Design Team and external consultants, managing the design procurement process (including consultant scopes, program, budgets, cost plans, trade scopes, and quality), identifying design opportunities and risks, and ensuring the delivery of a cost-effective buildable design. You will also be responsible for managing the Safety in Design process and conducting key Design Risk Workshops at appropriate milestones through the design phases.
The Design Manager will need to integrate with the broader Multiplex delivery team with regular meetings identifying design change, commercial impacts and also providing senior management with updates on key milestones and the project's overall status.

Previous experience in aviation/airport construction is beneficial, but not mandatory.
