Full-time Visual Illustrator

Celebrity Ink Tattoo Franchising Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Visual Illustrator to join our creative team at Celebrity Ink Tea Tree Plaza, Modbury, South Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing original visual concepts, bespoke illustrations, and detailed artwork for artistic presentation, publication, and display purposes using traditional and digital media.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, designing and developing original illustrations, sketches and visual concepts based on client and project briefs.
• Consulting with clients and stakeholders to determine artistic objectives, visual communication requirements and design concepts.
• Undertaking visual research and analysing creative requirements to develop effective illustration solutions.
• Preparing original drawings, layouts, illustrations and artwork using traditional and digital media, including drawing and image capture and manipulation software.
• Producing bespoke visual content to communicate ideas, support artistic presentations, promotional materials and commercial display purposes.
• Refining, documenting and preparing final artwork for presentation, production and client approval.
• Collaborating with management and creative teams to deliver illustration projects and creative initiatives.
• Maintaining illustration archives, digital artwork libraries and reference materials for future creative projects.

To be considered for the role, applicants must have:

• Bachelor qualification in illustration, visual arts, graphic design or related discipline, or at least five years of highly relevant professional experience 
• Demonstrated experience producing original illustrative and visual design work 
• Strong portfolio showcasing traditional and digital illustration capabilities 
• Advanced visual communication and conceptual design skills 
• Proficiency in digital illustration, image editing, and visual design software
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability 

This is a full-time position based at Celebrity Ink Tea Tree Plaza, Modbury, South Australia, with occasional travel between studio locations for creative projects and events.

Annual salary ranges from AUD $80,000 to $90,000 per year plus superannuation depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
