HL Landscapes is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Site Supervisor to join our construction teams. This role involves supervising landscaping and civil works across projects throughout Canberra & surrounding regions, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This position requires a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership skills, a team-focused attitude, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality on site.
The role will occasionally require travel to projects outside of Canberra, with the successful applicant working away during the week from time to time. HL Landscapes prides itself on being a reasonable and supportive employer, and any travel requirements will always be discussed with consultation and appropriate notice.
Responsibilities and DutiesReading and interpreting construction and landscaping plans
Leading and coordinating site crews
Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to specification
Maintaining quality control and safety standards onsite
Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape landscaping works
Managing & Recording daily site activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule
Current Driver’s Licence
Industry White Card
Asbestos & Silica Awareness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working on civil construction or landscaping sites
Proven ability to lead teams and maintain a strong safety culture
Bobcat and Excavator licences
First Aid Certificate
HR Truck Licence
Trade qualification or strong experience in landscaping
