Civil Draftsperson

Desire Builders Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsperson to join our growing team based in Hillbank, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed civil engineering drawings and documentation for residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil design drawings, plans, and documentation using AutoCAD or similar drafting software. 
• Interpret design concepts and specifications to produce accurate technical drawings. 
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards. 
• Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and submissions to local authorities. 
• Maintain and update drawing registers, ensuring all versions and revisions are accurately recorded.

Qualification & experience

• At least 2 years of full-time experience as a Civil Draftsperson. 
• Any Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field. 
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools. 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
