Forklift Operator – Hemmant | Immediate Start

Join a leading FMCG and cold chain logistics company in Hemmant! Our client is a global player connecting food producers, distributors, quick-service restaurants, and retailers to consumers, and they’re looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join their team.

Pay: $35 – $38/hr + overtime
Shifts available: Day & Afternoon
Location note: Drivers’ license and car preferred as public transport is limited

PPE & Equipment: 
– Cotton drill long sleeve hi-vis shirt
– Cotton drill long work pants
– Steel cap boots
– Safety glasses
– Freezer jacks supplied by the client

What We’re Looking For:
– Valid forklift ticket mandatory
– 6–12 months experience on high-reach and counterbalance forklifts
– Ability to work safely in cold storage environments (down to -20°C)
– Strong attention to detail and adherence to safe work practices

Key Responsibilities:
– Operate forklifts in a freezer environment
– Move stock and replenish inventory within cold storage
– Load/unload trucks for receivables and dispatch
– Order picking using high-reach forklifts
– Scan and verify stock using RF systems
– Maintain accurate paperwork and stock records
– Manual handling and safe product transfers

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for someone with forklift experience who thrives in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.
