Fidens Support Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Male and Female Support Workers to join our growing team across Southern Adelaide.
We are currently recruiting for participants located in Seaford, Mitchell Park, Park Holme, Morphett Vale, Noarlunga, Reynella and surrounding suburbs.
We have a variety of Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home, and community support shifts available across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, promoting independence, choice, and quality of life.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting participants with activities of daily living
Providing personal care and support where required
Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals and maintain independence
Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks
Administering medication in accordance with training and organisational procedures
Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
Promoting participant choice, dignity, rights, and wellbeing
Building positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
Following participant support plans and organisational policies
Ongoing training and professional development
Supportive and family-oriented team culture

Meaningful work making a genuine difference in people's lives
Current Driver's Licence
Reliable and insured motor vehicle
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or equivalent (or currently studying)
NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
Infection Prevention and Control Training
HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication (or willingness to obtain)
