We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Male Disability Support Worker to support a young participant in the Caboolture area.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, getting out in the community, and building genuine connections while helping a young person develop independence and life skills.

Shift Details

  • daily shifts from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

  • Ongoing support role with consistency preferred

About the Participant

  • Enjoys sports, community outings, and gaming

  • Has plenty of energy and enjoys staying active

  • Working towards greater independence and preparing for life after school

  • Looking for a support worker who is positive, engaging, motivated, and reliable

About the Role

  • Supporting community access and social participation

  • Assisting with everyday living skills and increasing independence

  • Supporting the participant's transition to life after school

  • Encouraging participation in sports, recreational activities, and community events

  • Following support plans and maintaining accurate progress notes

  • Implementing strategies outlined within the participant's Behaviour Support Plan

What We're Looking For

  • An energetic, proactive, and positive attitude

  • Someone who enjoys sports, gaming, and being active in the community

  • Experience in disability support, youth work, mental health, or community services

  • Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, mental health, emotional regulation, or Behaviour Support Plans will be highly regarded

  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
