We are a small company, servicing a small base of clients in need for in home disability support. We have the need worker’s in the Bendigo area to add to our team.

We have a range hours / shifts available, some of these which can be customized to suit individual’s availability. Range of hours can be between 10 & 30hrs per week. These positions are on a casual basis. Pay rates are comfortably above the award, with a variety of evening & weekend shifts that attract full penalty rates.

Disability support worker duties:

The range of duties includes:

· Personal care.

· Community outings & appointments.

· Social interaction.

· General house hold duties.

· Companionship.

Personal qualities of the following will be highly regarded:

· Being able to adapt to a changing environment.

· Accepting & adhering to company policy’s.

· Take on board instructions & direction’s in a dynamic environment.

· Accept & take on board constructive criticism.

· Empathetic to the clients needs.

· Caring nature.

· Sleepovers on occasion.

Previous experience in disability care would be highly regarded, but not essential to the right person. Current drivers license is required, with first aid, CPR , and Cert III or equivalent in disability or aged care also desirable. Continuous on the job training, & familiarization will be provided. Police check and working with children / NDIS screen check will also be required.

Two phone references of previous employers / clients would be highly regarded.
