Target Business Services Location: 8/58–62 Fitzwilliam Road, Toongabbie NSW 2146 Salary: $76,500 - $80,000 plus 12% Superannuation Position: Full time - Permanent Our client The Chariot Financial Group Pty Ltd trading as Assured Independent Living Services (AILS), is a registered NDIS service provider offering a range of disability and community support services across Sydney, including Supported Independent Living, therapy supports (physio, OT, psychology, exercise physiology), social & community participation, and household assistance.

The organisation is committed to help clients live independently with dignity and choice. AILS is looking for a compassionate, reliable Aged Carer to join its team supporting older clients and NDIS participants in home and community settings. You will deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, safety and wellbeing while working closely with families and allied health teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or a related field
  • At least one year experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience delivering aged care, disability supports or home care services
  • Experience working with NDIS participants or in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings

In this role your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide personal care (assistance with showering, dressing, toileting, mobility support and continence care)
  • Assist with medication prompts and safety (following care plans)
  • Support with meal preparation, feeding assistance and monitoring dietary needs
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, light household duties and community outings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering positive relationships with clients and encouraging their independence.
  • Record and report observations in client notes and escalate concerns to supervisors
  • Follow individual care plans, behaviour supports and health & safety procedures
  • Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Current

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Valid

Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A genuine passion for helping individuals lead healthy and independent lives.
