The exciting opportunity

  • Provide strategic oversight for Community AOD portfolio (Sobering Up Centre, Low Medical Detox, Mingga Connectors, PIDAS)—aligned with AOD Human Services Standards and organisational goals.
  • Lead culturally secure services: client pathways, assessments, referrals, through-care, with seamless collaboration to the Rehabilitation Centre.
  • Drive operational excellence, contract performance, financials, risk/compliance, audits, accreditation, quality initiatives, and inter-service alignment.
  • Build partnerships with funders, government, Aboriginal Corporations, health/justice providers; represent in forums and promote programs.
  • Manage high-performance teams: recruitment, coaching, supervision, capability building, incident monitoring across rural/remote sites.
  • Oversee budgets, assets, facilities; flexible hours with on-call, car for Pilbara travel.

About you
  • Tertiary quals in Health, Human Services, Business (essential); 5+ years senior management in AOD, human services (AOD preferred).
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary, remote teams; expertise in standards compliance, audits, accreditation, governance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, cultural capability (trauma-informed, Aboriginal-focused), financial/operational management.
  • Excellent comms, strategic thinking, systems-savvy; experience in business development, quality improvement.
  • Valid Police Clearance, WWCC, driver's licence, AOD screen; right to work in Australia.
  • Excited to step into a stable program that's ready for its next phase of growth.
  • Willing to relocate permanently to the Pilbara region.
