General Manager

Motto is ready for its next chapter. We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to partner with the CEO and help build a leading women’s fashion brand. You will oversee day-to-day operations, build alignment across teams, and drive commercial outcomes across e-commerce, marketing, customer experience, and business performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can turn strategy into execution and identify opportunities others miss. You will hold ultimate responsibility for the commercial performance of the business. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for translating strategy into execution and ensuring the business delivers profitable, sustainable growth. Partner with the CEO: Work closely with the CEO to translate vision into execution, ensuring priorities are clear, resources are aligned, and the business remains focused on achieving its strategic objectives. Drive Commercial Performance: Take ownership of revenue, profitability, and operational outcomes. Identify opportunities, remove roadblocks, and ensure the business consistently delivers against its targets. Own Financial PerformanceOversee budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and investment decisions. Use data and commercial insight to maximize profitability and sustainable growth. Scale E-Commerce ExcellenceLead the performance of our digital channel, driving improvements across customer acquisition, conversion, retention, customer lifetime value, and overall online profitability. Elevate Brand & Marketing EffectivenessPartner with internal and external teams to strengthen brand position, improve marketing effectiveness, and identify new avenues for customer and revenue growth. Build a High-Performance CultureDevelop leaders, strengthen accountability, and create an environment where talented people can perform at their best and achieve exceptional outcomes. Champion the CustomerEnsure the customer remains at the center of decision-making, continuously improving the experience across every touchpoint and channel. What We're Looking For Proven success leading a multi-channel retail, e-commerce, or consumer brand business.Experience managing and scaling businesses with revenues exceeding $10 million.Strong commercial and financial acumen with ownership of budgets, forecasting, and profitability.Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention, digital marketing, and e-commerce performance.Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and create accountability across an organization.A track record of identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and delivering measurable business outcomes.Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.Shopify experience is highly regarded.Fashion, retail, or consumer brand experience is highly regarded.
