Electrical & Instrumentation Service Coordinator
Are you an organised, solutions focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment? We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Service Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our E & I department.

We provide sales & services of safety equipment specialising in height safety, portable & fixed gas detection and process instrumentation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organising and directing E & I technicians to carry out onsite and workshop works in response to customer requirements.
You will be the central coordination point between technicians, customers, sales, accounts and management, ensuring workflow runs efficiently and service delivery meets high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and control workflow for field and service technicians
Schedule service and installation work according to priority
Respond to customer enquiries regarding products, services and accounts
Coordinate customer service requirements with relevant departments
Receive and process job orders and determine required materials and equipment
Liaise with procurement to ensure timely ordering of supplies
Perform administrative duties including preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining records and updating databases
Maintain training and induction records to ensure compliance
Manage stock control of components and assist with stocktake activities
Identify opportunities to improve office systems and procedures
Handle and resolve customer complaints and escalate issues where required
Attend meetings and support management with additional related tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Coordinator or similar position
Strong experience working with ERP / workflow systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Accurate and timely record keeping abilities
Key Working Relationships
You will work closely with E & I Technicians on daily job coordination, liaise with Sales, the Electrical & Instrumentation Manager and Chief Technical Officer regarding workflow and customer matters, and maintain ongoing contact with Accounts staff regarding customer accounts.
