We are partnering with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation seeking a Customer Service Officer to join their team on an 8-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for managing inbound enquiries, providing information and support, and ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and care.

This role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, listen actively, and confidently navigate a variety of customer situations.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
Provide accurate information and support to customers
Maintain customer records and update information within internal systems
Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
Escalate complex enquiries when required
Deliver a positive and compassionate customer experience with every interaction

About You

Previous call centre or customer service experience is preferred
Strong communication and active listening skills
Demonstrated resilience and ability to handle challenging conversations
Empathetic and customer-focused approach
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working with multiple systems and databases
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
