Independent Living Specialists (ILS) have evolved over the last 16 years, to position itself as Australia's largest range of Physiotherapy and home care equipment.

We seek a Full-Time, Service Technician who is available to provide support to our growing team in Eastern Creek, NSW. This is a fast-paced but very rewarding role, that will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Service and repair all medical and mobility equipment in the field and workshop

  • Liaise with Customers, Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, Workshop Technicians and other internal departments to get the best outcomes for our customers

  • Prepare and follow up quotes for repairs

  • Submit a service report once the job is done. 

  • Prioritize and complete work so that ILS meets its contractual agreements and delivers customer service excellence

  • Provide feedback on the quality and serviceability of our products so ILS can continuously improve

  • Propose solutions to improve the customer experience and make ILS Servicing more efficient and effective

  • Maintain your Service vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is well stocked with parts and consumables

  • Other duties within the Service team as required

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in repairing and maintaining equipment

  • Ability to troubleshoot unsupervised

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Products

  • A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client needs

  • Current driver's license.

  • Willingness to obtain: Police Check, Working with Children's check and NDIS Worker Check

  • Must be fully Covid-19 Vaccinated (3 doses).

  • You will be highly regarded if you have demonstrated skills working in the health sector &/or with individuals with a medical condition or disability.
