The Role
As a Customer Service Officer within Landside Operations, you will provide a seamless, safe and customer‑focused experience across Adelaide Airport’s landside precinct. This permanent part‑time role operates on a 4‑on / 4‑off rotating roster, averaging 32.38 hours per week, with early morning and afternoon start times typical for operational coverage.
You will support the travelling public, assist with the efficient flow of traffic, and contribute to the safety and security of the landside environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain traffic flow in pick‑up/drop‑off areas, taxi ranks and landside terminal precincts.
Provide general customer service to the travelling public.
Operate car park equipment and associated systems.
Assist passengers and visitors requiring mobility support.
Conduct mobile patrols to ensure safety, security and operational compliance.
Complete car park booth shifts, including CCTV monitoring and customer enquiries (phone and intercom).
Embed positive customer service behaviours in all interactions.
Contribute to a safe and discrimination‑free workplace, and comply with WHS and Environmental procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a face‑to‑face customer service environment.
· Experience working in shift-based roles.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
· Proven resilience and ability to diffuse difficult or conflicting interactions.
· Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to follow matters through to resolution.
· Ability to work outdoors across changing environmental conditions.
· Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
· High attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to operational priorities.
· Current Driver's Licence.
Desirable
· Experience in aviation, transport, or other large operational environments.
· Previous exposure to CCTV monitoring or customer support via intercom/phone -- systems.
· Knowledge of WHS responsibilities or safety-critical environments.
· Experience providing mobility assistance or support to people with accessibility needs.
