About the Role

Risk & Operations Advisor – Australian practice (8–10 years of experience). Responsible for proactive delivery of risk and compliance activities supporting national business and corporate teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Support risk and compliance activities, maintaining various compliance obligations.
  • Provide timely and effective advice to client‑facing professionals and corporate teams on risk & compliance matters, including reviewing RFPs and client contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with the APAC legal team to develop templates that comply with company policies and Australian laws.
  • Contribute to compliance management for licenced or registrable activities (AFSL and other).
  • Update and maintain relevant corporate risk policies and procedures for the Australian practice in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Communicate in various forums on risk & compliance matters, including delivery of training.
  • Support key operational and leadership reporting, meetings, and forums.
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc projects aimed at process improvements and enhanced efficiencies.

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • 5–8 years of risk and compliance experience in a professional services environment.
  • Degree in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Business, or relevant risk and compliance certifications (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of risk and compliance best practices and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of the AFSL compliance environment and requirements.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and high level of professionalism.
  • Can‑do attitude with willingness to learn and grow with the team.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $123,000.00 – Maximum Pay: $140,000.00. The range reflects potential base salary and is inclusive of superannuation. Actual salary will consider market, business needs, location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
