With continued investment in people, systems and processes, the business is now seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to support its next phase of growth.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting business performance through accurate reporting, commercial insights and strong financial management.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operations and being involved in the day-to-day running of the business. The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, cashflow management, costing, compliance and process improvement, while also providing the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to the Managing Director, helping drive improved visibility, stronger commercial outcomes and ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Manage cashflow, budgeting and financial planning activities
• Oversee payroll, BAS, GST and statutory compliance requirements
• Drive costing accuracy, margin analysis and profitability reporting
• Improve financial reporting, controls and business processes
• Support operational decision-making through meaningful commercial insights
• Liaise with external accountants, advisors and key stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar role
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of costing, inventory and WIP environments
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with operational stakeholders
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification highly regarded
