About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented finance officer to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and compliance with relevant financial and NDIS requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  • Generate and reconcile NDIS claims and participant invoices using CRM

  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records.

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.

  • Monitor outstanding debtor balances and follow up payments.

  • Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with organisational policies.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

  • Liaise with participants, staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders regarding finance-related matters.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounts role.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of NDIS funding and claiming processes (desirable but not essential).
