About the role

We are seeking a skilled Business Planning Administrator to join our team at Sharp Corporation in North Ryde, NSW. This full-time position is integral to the effective planning and coordination of our business operations. As the Business Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our Production, Planning & Scheduling functions, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products and services.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of production plans, schedules, and forecasts to meet customer demand

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions

  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics

  • Coordinate and participate in production planning meetings to ensure alignment across the organisation

  • Provide administrative support to the planning and scheduling team, including data entry, filing, and document management

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning function

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a business, logistics, or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a business planning, production planning, or scheduling role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP/planning systems

  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
