This large national organisation with multiple practice groups operating across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior stakeholders and provide commercial financial guidance across several business units.
This role sits within the finance function and partners with operational leaders to support strategic decisions through analysis, reporting and financial insight.

Role overview
You will work closely with leadership teams to deliver financial insight, support strategic initiatives and improve business performance through clear analysis and practical financial advice.

Key responsibilities

Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision making
Deliver financial reporting, analysis and insights across business units
Provide advice on financial policies, processes and performance improvement initiatives
Support the development of business cases and strategic initiatives
Analyse business performance including profitability, pricing and benchmarking
Identify trends, risks and opportunities through financial data analysis
Coordinate finance related projects and improvement initiatives
Support reporting requirements and develop improved performance metrics

Required experience and skills

Degree in accounting, economics, analytics or similar discipline
CA or CPA qualification, or currently working towards completion
Experience in finance business partnering, management accounting or financial analysis
Strong ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non finance stakeholders
Experience working with leadership teams to deliver financial solutions and initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Commercial awareness and ability to influence decision making
