The Opportunity

Our Corporate Compliance department is looking for an experienced Corporate Secretarial Administrator / Corporate Secretary to join them on a full-time basis. This role plays a key part in supporting our clients with corporate compliance and regulation.

Responsibilities:

Daily tasks will include:

  • Incorporation of companies

  • Establishment of trusts and SMSFs

  • Processing of annual company statements

  • Processing of relevant ASIC documents for changes

  • Business name registrations and ongoing management of renewals

  • Ordering of relevant trust deeds through company authorised suppliers as required and management of such including organising stamp duty fees

  • Deregistration of companies

  • Onboarding new clients and offboarding departing clients

  • Preparation of letters and invoices as required

  • Document tracking and lodgements management

  • Managing registers of companies

  • Managing seals and register

  • Undertaking searches as instructed by partner

  • Communicating with clients on corporate compliance matters as required

  • Liaising with ASIC

  • Assisting fellow Corporate Compliance team members as required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, in an accounting or legal practice

  • Experience with BGL CAS required

  • Experience with APS and HowNow software highly regarded

  • Strong Word skills

  • Experience with electronic signing software such as Adobe Sign, DocuSign, FuseSign.

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
