About The Role Teaming up with a supportive Relationship Manager, you’ll help look after a portfolio of Agribusiness customers (pre and post farmgate), providing a great way to build specialist industry expertise. Role Type: Permanent Role Location: 111 Eagle Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 Role Schedule: Full Time (40hrs/week) What will your day look like? Working with your Relationship Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers by: Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the customer’s business and financial needs Acting in the best interest of the customer and applying a customer-centric approach, to support the customer’s business needs with suitable products and services Providing appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and customer needs Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process Collaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Prior experience in a commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lendingAbility to help manage strong customer relationships by handling service queries and solving minor issuesStrong communication skills to assist customers effectively Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communicationsFamiliarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market risk Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as KYC (Know your Customer) and AML (anti- money laundering).Preferred agricultural industry experience and awarenessPreference for Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Economics, Accounting, Ag Science/Economics You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
