Join a growth business with regional and international ambitions. Job Description The Role: Monvia is seeking a Client Director to help drive growth across the life insurance market. This role is focused on originating, developing and progressing opportunities with life insurers, reinsurers and strategic partners. Reporting to the executive team, you will play a key role in expanding Monvia’s market presence, building trusted client relationships, and positioning our SaaS platform to support insurer transformation across underwriting, policy administration, claims and digital customer experiences. The Successful Candidate Will Bring Sydney-based preferred, with regular travel across Australia and New Zealand as required. Demonstrated experience building and managing a qualified enterprise sales pipeline. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers and decision-making dynamics within target insurers. The ability to navigate long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders across complex enterprise opportunities. Highly regarded Experience selling SaaS and/or insurtech solutions will be highly regarded. Strong insurance acumen, including an understanding of insurance operations, with life insurance and/or reinsurance experience highly regarded. Established relationships across the Australia and New Zealand life insurance market. Established relationships across international life insurance markets would be advantageous. Experience working with implementation and advisory partners to develop and progress co-sell opportunities. Responsibilities Desired Skills and Experience Identify and pursue strategic opportunities across life insurers, reinsurers and partner channels. Build and manage a qualified pipeline across target insurers, reinsurers and partners through strategic prospecting, market insight and relationship development. Develop and execute growth strategies aligned to Monvia’s market priorities and target accounts. Build trusted relationships with prospective clients, understand their strategic priorities and develop compelling proposals aligned to their needs. Lead presentations and solution demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of Monvia’s SaaS platform. Collaborate with product, delivery and leadership teams to shape tailored proposals, commercial models and positioning strategies. Lead commercial discussions, proposal development and contract progression. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developments relevant to the life insurance sector. Work closely with system integrator and advisory partners to develop and progress partner-led opportunities. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with executive and operational stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management, commercial negotiation and relationship development skills. At least 5 years’ experience in enterprise business development, account management or solution sales, ideally within insurance, technology or financial services. Insurance industry experience is preferred, with life insurance and/or reinsurance experience viewed favourably.
