About the role:

The Administration Support Officer role sits within the Quality Education Division, part of People Development in the Our People directorate, and is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support across the division. This position plays a key role in supporting the planning, delivery and completion of training programs.

People Development plays a critical role within Victoria Police, focusing on building the skills, capability and confidence of employees to effectively lead and engage with the community. It is responsible for delivering comprehensive training and career development programs for all personnel, including police officers, Protective Services Officers (PSOs) and Police Custody Officers (PCOs), from initial recruit training through to advanced career stages.

Your duties will include:

Providing high-quality day-to-day administrative support across the division
Coordinating and scheduling training programs
Organising events, accommodation and travel arrangements as required
Liaising effectively with internal business areas and key stakeholders
Managing enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining accurate records using various systems and databases

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Experience maintaining administrative records across a range of IT systems
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team
Strong verbal communication skills, including handling phone enquiries
Ability to work with sensitive information in a confidential environment
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and meeting stakeholder needs

Further Information:

One (1) x full-time, fixed-term position available, end date 31 May 2028.
This position is located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Rd Glen Waverley.
