About Us:

St Paul's Lutheran Primary School is seeking an ICT Support Officer to join our team. We are an independent co-educational school providing quality education for children from Kindergarten to Year 6, based on the principles of the Christian faith as taught by the Lutheran Church of Australia. At St Paul's Lutheran Primary School, we pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking and innovative learning community. This position is to provide dedicated ICT support to staff and students, and maintain ICT systems across the entire school.  This appointment is a permanent part-time position, 15.2 hours (two days) per week, 8.00am - 4.00pm.

About the Role:

The ICT Support Officer works closely with the ICT Manager, to assist in the development, installation and maintenance of designated IT/ AV systems supporting the teaching and administrative functions of the school. The focus of this role is to provide high level customer service across the whole of the organisation. This role is required to uphold and maintain a high level of confidentiality and discernment, in the undertaking of their duties.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to users across the School.

  • Monitor and respond to incoming ICT requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or walk-ins.

  • Support parents with technical service requests.

  • Ensure school equipment (printers, projectors, screens, and digital devices) is functioning, and log/ escalate maintenance requests as needed.

  • Assist with management and deployment of devices, applications, and updates for staff and students.

  • Maintain staff devices.

  • Support the implementation of new and upgraded technologies within the school.

  • Log and manage staff device repairs and update asset records accurately.

  • Assist with user management across systems including TASS, PaperCut, and Microsoft 365.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.

  • Is future-focused and displays initiative.

  • Relevant qualification preferred, or experience in a similar role.

  • Demonstrates problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to technical support.

  • Has experience in troubleshooting a wide range of IT and AV equipment.

  • Is organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple requests efficiently.

  • Shows a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as technologies evolve.

  • Possesses current Blue Card/Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
