The Opportunity Skillfield is looking for a Sales Director who is passionate about leading, coaching and building a high-performing sales team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The Sales Director will lead by example in winning and growing key accounts and create a competitive advantage by consistently embedding Skillfield culture and values into how we engage clients, shape solutions and deliver outcomes. Success in this role requires strong consultative selling capability, experience in solution-led enterprise sales, and bring a strong network of key decision-makers to generate new growth opportunities for the business. What you’ll be responsible for Owning overall sales performance and delivering company revenue targets Leading strategic opportunities and contributing directly to revenue through your own sales activity Driving pipeline health, opportunity qualification, forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline Coaching and developing the sales team to improve performance, consistency and commercial effectiveness Building strong client relationships and driving growth across existing and new accounts What you’ll bring Proven experience leading and developing a sales function within a B2B professional services or technology consulting environment (e.g. IT, data, cybersecurity or AI) Strong consultative, solution-selling capability, with experience selling complex services where client outcomes, business value, delivery capability, scope and commercial performance are all critical considerations A track record of winning and growing enterprise accounts Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand client challenges, shape solutions, influence senior decision-makers and build long-term trusted relationships Proficient in structured sales methodologies (e.g. Miller Heiman) across pipeline management, stakeholder mapping, account planning and strategic opportunities Demonstrate and build sales team capability in commercial acumen, including pipeline quality, forecasting, margin awareness and selling high-value work Why join Skillfield Work in a high-growth consulting environment across data, cybersecurity and AI Shape and lead the sales function with real impact on business direction Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team aligned to clear values
