·         $48.00 per hour plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates.

·         6 months work based at our client's Neerabup Depot, with potential for extension.

·         Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week, supporting traffic management operations and projects.

Our client is responsible for the management and maintenance of key road corridors that support the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout the region. These roads play a vital role in connecting communities, facilitating economic activity, and providing access to essential services.

Through ongoing planning, maintenance, and improvement initiatives, our client works to ensure the road network remains reliable, resilient, and capable of meeting current and future transport demands.

About the Position

Our client is seeking a Traffic Management Support Officer to provide technical and administrative support across a range of traffic management operations and projects. This role is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and implementation of traffic management activities, maintaining documentation and compliance records, liaising with stakeholders and contractors, and conducting site visits to support the safe and efficient delivery of traffic management services.

Key Responsibilities

·         Provide technical support for traffic management operations and project activities.

·         Assist with the planning, coordination and implementation of traffic management works.

·         Maintain accurate traffic management documentation, records and compliance information.

·         Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and operational teams to support project delivery.

·         Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure traffic management requirements are met.

·         Support the preparation of reports, schedules and project-related administrative documentation.

·         Assist with the development and review of traffic management plans, permits and associated records.

Experience Required

·         Current Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation, White Card

·         Current C Class Driver's Licence.

·         Demonstrated experience in traffic management or a related operational environment.

·         Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
