An established business in Clyde, NSW is looking for a highly capable and experienced Office Manager to join its team on a full time basis.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating the full scope of administrative and operational functions; supervising administrative staff; managing office budgets; and liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, thereby ensuring the office operates efficiently, compliantly, and professionally every day.

Task & responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Clyde, NSW office
  • Supervising and coordinating administrative and support staff
  • Managing the office budget, expenditure, and procurement of supplies
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing office policies and procedures
  • Handling business correspondence, reports, and official documentation
  • Coordinating meetings, schedules, and appointments for management and staff
  • Supporting HR functions including recruitment administration and staff onboarding
  • Acting as the key liaison between management, departments, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and WHS obligations
  • Preparing operational reports for senior management

Qualification & experience

  • A relevant Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in office administration, operations management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience supervising administrative staff
  • Proven budget and financial administration experience
  • Experience in the cleaning, facilities management, or service industry is highly regarded
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
  • Sound understanding of WHS obligations and workplace compliance
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
