About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Administration and Accounts Assistant to join our team at our Banyo office.

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

How You’ll Fit Into the Team

This role plays an important part in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. You will work closely with our administration, accounts and workshop teams to ensure jobs are created, scheduled and completed efficiently. The position suits someone who enjoys being organised, helping others and taking pride in keeping systems, records and processes running effectively.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Your duties will include:

    • Answering incoming calls and responding to client and supplier emails

    • Assisting with ordering stock and materials for jobs

    • Supporting the accounts team with invoicing tasks

    • Data entry and maintaining accurate records

    • Creating jobs and organising internal quotes and works

    • Organising freight, deliveries and accepting incoming goods

    • Using MYOB and Simpro software systems

    • Providing general administration support across the office

    • Liaising with technicians to assist with their daily operational needs

    • Assisting with additional administration or accounts tasks as required

About you

Experience in a trades or service-based environment will be highly regarded, along with a basic understanding of accounts processes and the ability to work with data from multiple systems.

To be successful in this role

  • Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative role

  • Experience using MYOB and Simpro, or similar systems

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new platforms quickly

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work autonomously when required

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
