At Trevors Carpets, we are looking for a confident, energetic and switched-on Junior Sales Support Officer to join our team at our Osborne Park store.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting out in their career who wants to join a fast-paced retail business, learn from an experienced team, and build a long-term future with a well-established WA company.
You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, so this role suits someone who is professional, quick-thinking, organised and genuinely enjoys talking to people.
Trevors Carpets is a proudly Western Australian retail business with more than 50 years of history, and we are looking for a Junior Sales Support Officer to join our Sales Support Team at our main Osborne Park store.
About the Role
As part of our Sales Support Team, you will help keep our customer enquiries and internal administration running smoothly. This is a hands-on support role in a busy retail environment, with a strong focus on phone-based customer service and day-to-day administration.
What you'll be doing
Answering inbound calls for our retail stores and directing calls to the right departments
Handling general customer enquiries over the phone
Making outbound calls on behalf of administration and sales team members as required
Providing general administrative support including copying, printing, filing, scanning, collating and document preparation
Assisting the wider sales and administration teams with day-to-day support tasks
Coordinating stationery and amenity orders for the main office and retail stores
Assisting with light routine workplace duties such as coffee machine pack-down, loading the dishwasher and helping keep shared areas tidy
What we're looking for
A positive, self-motivated and reliable person
Excellent attention to detail
A confident and professional phone manner
Strong spoken and written communication skills
The ability to think on your feet and stay composed under pressure
Accountability and pride in your work
A willingness to learn, pitch in and support different departments when needed
A genuine interest in building a long-term career with a business that promotes from within
Why join us?
Full-time stable role with a respected WA retail business
Monday to Friday hours only
Supportive team environment
Genuine opportunity to grow into other roles within the business
Be part of a company that values loyalty, hard work and people who want to build a future
Work Hours

9:00am to 5:30pm
Remuneration
Level 2 General Retail Industry Award, plus an above-award percentage based on experience, negotiated with the successful applicant.
38 Hours per week, plus 2 hours reasonable overtime
Includes statutory superannuation and 4 weeks annual leave.
Right to Work
Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Communication
Strong spoken and written English communication skills are essential due to the volume of phone calls and daily customer interaction.
How to Apply
To apply, please email your cover letter, resume, and references (if available) to ************@trevorscarpets.com.au.
Because this is a junior role, we understand that your resume may be light on experience. What matters most to us is a strong cover letter that tells us:
who you are
why you are interested in the role
why you believe you would be a great fit for Trevors Carpets
any experience, skills or personal strengths you have that would help you succeed in the position
We are looking for applicants who can show enthusiasm, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the business.
If your resume does not contain a lot of work history yet, that is okay, your cover letter is your opportunity to show us why you would be a valuable addition to our team.
