About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to support our busy Speciality Admin team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to add an enormous amount of value to the day-to-day, efficient running of the team and will gain satisfaction from seeing your hard work make a difference.

You will be positive and flexible in your approach to work and in return, we'll support your professional development by mentoring and coaching you to further strengthen your administration skills.

About You

• Strong customer service skills coupled with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail as well as being process driven.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
• Numeracy skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Be a people person with the ability to demonstrate a caring, empathetic and positive outlook. In addition, you will be thorough, analytical and be able to make rational decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient and accurate data entry, typing of assessment reports, correspondence and other documents.
• Claim lodgement and registration.
• Respond to client & Insured queries via telephone and email.
• Update Claims Management System as required.
• Supporting Loss Adjusters through general administration.
• Other ad hoc administration and claims related tasks as required, to assist the team.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years office administration/clerical experience
• A can-do attitude with great customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills (relationship building).
• Previous insurance experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Minimum typing speed of 50wpm, dictation experience (desired but not essential).
