This is a full time, office based role located in St Leonards, Sydney, close to public transport.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and organised Office Administrator / Accounts Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Sydney office.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play an important role in keeping the office organised and supporting the wider team. This role suits someone who enjoys being the central organiser of a busy office environment while assisting with administrative, accounts and payroll coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
• Coordinate daily office activities
• Maintain a welcoming and well organised office environment
• Manage office supplies and equipment
Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and team
• Coordinate meetings and manage calendars
• Coordinate staff travel arrangements
• Assist with coordination of Automated training courses
• Handle incoming calls and emails
Accounts Administration
• Process accounts receivable invoices and follow up outstanding payments
• Perform daily receipt reconciliation
• Process accounts payable invoices
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and administration
Payroll Administration
• Process payroll including timesheets, leave, superannuation and related administration
• Maintain staff leave records including annual leave and personal leave
• Assist with payroll reporting and compliance requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Previous experience in office administration, office coordination or office management
• Experience with accounts administration including accounts receivable and payable
• Experience supporting payroll processing or payroll administration
• A positive, outgoing personality with a can do attitude
• A strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and team members
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Experience with Xero accounting software and CRM systems such as Simpro is desirable but not essential.
