Key Responsibilities

Preparing and examining financial statements and management reports.
Monitoring cash flow, budgets and financial performance.
Preparing taxation returns and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
Analysing financial information and providing recommendations to management.
Assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting and business planning.
Maintaining accounting systems, internal controls and financial records.
Liaising with external auditors, financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and relevant legislation.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum one-two years of relevant post-qualification accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and taxation requirements.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
CPA Australia or CA ANZ membership (or working towards membership) (preferred)
