Unlike larger firms, you'll work directly with our Director, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting, taxation and advisory matters while being supported by a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals

  • Prepare and review BAS and IAS lodgements

  • Liaise with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders

  • Assist with tax planning and advisory engagements

  • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes

  • Manage your workflow to meet deadlines and client expectations

  • Support junior team members where required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in public practice accounting

  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements

  • Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • A proactive and positive attitude

  • Experience with Xero and cloud-based accounting software
