Accounts Payable Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established and growing organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable function while contributing to process improvements and helping drive efficiencies across the finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• High-volume invoice matching, coding, reconciliations, and payment processing
• Investigating and resolving invoice and purchase order discrepancies
• Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
• Supporting cashflow reporting and finance administration
• Managing supplier and stakeholder queries
• Maintaining supplier records and ensuring compliance with company processes
• Liaising with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiencies
• Assisting with month-end activities and reporting requirements
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives across the finance function

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience within a high-volume environment
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
