About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Beautopia Hair and Beauty Pty Ltd in our Lane Cove West, NSW office. This is a full time in office position that will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner

2. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

3. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions

4. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis

5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required

6. Provide administrative support to the team as needed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts payable role.

2. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

3. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

4. 1-2 years of experience using MYOB accounting software

5. Intermediate Excel skills including formulas and functions

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

8. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of financial information

9. Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
