This is a rare opportunity to work alongside leading industry experts on high-profile, complex matters while developing cutting-edge forensic technology skills. You'll be joining a collaborative team that handles some of the most sophisticated assignments across Australia.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership and experienced peers, you'll contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of forensic and valuation assignments. Your work will span analysis of complex data sets, conducting investigations and discovery projects, financial modelling, and preparing expert reports compliant with Court guidelines. You'll exercise initiative and sound judgement to deliver assignments on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic accounting and valuation assignments across diverse dispute and litigation matters
  • Apply advanced data analytics to support investigations, financial modelling, and damage quantification
  • Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources including accounting systems and databases
  • Support investigations and discovery projects across various practice areas
  • Contribute to expert testimony preparation and court proceedings
  • Valuations for disputes (contractual fallouts, shareholder disputes, family law, compulsory acquisitions)
  • Quantification of damages (commercial and insurance litigation, institutional abuse matters, class actions)
  • Fraud and systemic issue investigations
Ideal Candidate
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice disciplines such as forensic accounting, valuations, business services
  • Strong technical skills in software such as Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to leverage technology to uncover and analyse information
