About the roleThe eCommerce Specialist plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day trading, content execution, and merchandising of Oroton’s online channels. Working closely with the eCommerce Manager, this role supports the end-to-end online product experience — from building and updating content to executing campaigns, promotions, and site merchandising — ensuring a premium, conversion-focused customer journey across both oroton.com and oroton.com/outlet. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Execute day-to-day trading across both sites, including launches, promotions, and homepage updatesSupport site merchandising across campaigns, sale events, and seasonal edits to drive conversion and revenueManage cross-sell functionality and shopability features to increase basket sizeBuild and maintain web pages and content using Shogun and ContentfulCoordinate and deploy campaign assets in partnership with the Marketing teamConduct ongoing QA to ensure a premium, error-free online experienceMonitor site performance, identify issues, and take proactive steps to resolve themSupport product uploads and data accuracy using PIM systems such as SalsifyOptimise on-site content for SEO, including metadata, landing pages, and structured contentTrack and analyse performance using tools such as GA4 and Power BIPartner with stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, Customer Care, and Buying to deliver aligned outcomes What we’re looking for:3+ years’ experience in an eCommerce or digital merchandising roleStrong experience working with Shopify (essential)Experience using Shogun page builder (essential)Understanding of PIM platforms such as Salsify, or similar systemsWorking knowledge of SEO best practices and online content optimisationAnalytical mindset with experience reviewing site performance and insightsStrong attention to detail across product data, content, and QAAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and confidence working cross-functionallyHighly regarded:Experience with BigCommerce or similar platformsFamiliarity with GA4, Power BI, or InsighttechUnderstanding of AEO, GEO, or emerging search trendsExperience in fashion, lifestyle, or retail environments Benefits and CultureIn joining Oroton, you’ll be part of a team of talented and supportive individuals who are passionate about their craft and committed to the success of our iconic brand.You will also enjoy:Hybrid working arrangements4 Recharge Days per year, in addition to annual leaveBirthday leaveLearning and development opportunities, with a focus on internal progressionGenerous product discounts and lifestyle benefits12 weeks Paid Parental Leave for eligible team membersAccess to our Employee Assistance Program and wellbeing initiatives Ready to bring a premium customer experience to life online and contribute to the growth of a leading Australian brand?
