About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of asset maintenance and shutdown services, supporting mining, industrial, and commercial operations across the Mackay region. They are known for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance solutions, with a strong focus on teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Accounts Officer, your responsibilities are:

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
• Processing invoicing and purchase orders
• Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
• Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
• Using the Reckon accounting system for daily operations
• Working Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer role
• Experience using the Reckon accounting system
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong communication and administration skills

What's in it for you?

• Hourly rate of $36.15 / hour
• 6 hour days, flexible with school hours
