Systems Accountant – Workday Adaptive Planning
CBD Location | Hybrid Working | From $95 + super per hour

We are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant with strong Workday Adaptive Planning expertise to support a key transformation initiative within a corporate services environment.
This role will play a critical part in both the implementation and ongoing optimisation of a financial planning system.
The Corporate Services Group delivers essential support across finance, payroll, IT, procurement, and transformation, driving strong governance, compliance, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and optimisation of Workday Adaptive Planning
• Assist with data migration, validation, and UAT processes
• Maintain system configuration, data structures, and integrity
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training
• Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials
• Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to deliver effective system outcomes
• Identify and drive system and process improvements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Collaborate with external vendors and implementation partners

About You

• Proven experience as a Systems Accountant, Financial Systems Analyst, or similar
• Strong, hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning(essential)
• Experience in system implementation, configuration, and administration
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Ability to work across both finance and technical teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
